THANK YOU FROM OUR NEW SUPERINTENDENT
Dear Voluntown School Community,
I could not be more excited to be reaching out thanking you for such a warm welcome the other night. Seeing many from the community come out to welcome me was humbling and showed the warmth and family atmosphere I have been craving. My girls (23 & 24) asked me about the “vibe” of the night and all I can say is that I left feeling incredibly positive and enthused by the people I met.
Special thanks to the NHS students who welcomed me and provided me with my first pieces of Eagles merch. I know there are still a few months until I officially join the Voluntown family, but I just wanted to share my appreciation for the other night. You made me feel so welcome and for that I cannot thank you enough.
Over the next few months, I hope to coordinate with Mr. Burrows and Mrs. Suffoletto to identify opportunities where I can stop by the school and join the students, staff and families in their end of year events. I am eager to jump in and while I generally always look forward to the summer months, this year brings a special spark.
